I'm not a big fan of Christmas Mince Pies. However this recipe is big on sweet fruity flavours and not so big on the spice. Now is the time to make the mixture, it will give the apple plenty of time to get juicy - Riverside Kitchen
Mix all ingredients very well. I store it in a click clack container and turn it every few weeks until Christmas.
When the time comes to make the tarts use ready rolled sweet crust pastry and a mini tart tray.

10 Granny Smith apples, skins on, grated
1 Tbsp cinnamon*
